Russia/Ukraine conflict as expected caused the market to be very volatile in the past week and should continue this week.
On the domestic front Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell will testify in congress this week. There is a possibility that the Russia/Ukraine conflict will affect the plan to increase the interest rate in March.
The sanctions against Russia has caused the prices of energy and oil to go up increasing concerns of an accelerated inflation.
This conflict has put the US economy in a very sticky situation. They have to control the inflation but they also have to be careful in it not being detrimental to the economy.
